NEW DELHI, Aug. 16 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Resident Commission on Saturday celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at its premises on Prithviraj Road here, where Additional Resident Commissioner Anil Sharma hoisted the National Flag.
Addressing officers and staff of the Resident Commission and its subordinate offices, Sharma paid tributes to the freedom fighters and national heroes whose sacrifices contributed to India's independence. He urged officials to uphold integrity, professionalism and dedication in public service.
