Srinagar, June 14 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted mock drills in Ganderbal and Anantnag districts on Sunday as part of security preparedness measures for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026).
In Ganderbal, a joint mock drill was conducted at Pandit Colony Wussan under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal. The exercise was carried out by the Special Operations Group (SOG) Ganderbal in coordination with Central Armed Police Forces to assess operational readiness, strengthen response mechanisms and enhance inter-agency coordination in dealing with various security scenarios.
