SRINAGAR, May 8 -- J&K Bank and Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday signed an addendum to their 2023 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), enhancing welfare and insurance benefits for police personnel, Special Police Officers (SPOs) and families of martyrs.

The addendum was signed by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat and Managing Director and CEO of J&K Bank Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of senior officers of the police department and the bank.

Officials said the revised agreement provides enhanced insurance cover, compensation and welfare support, including assistance for critical medical treatment, children's education and family responsibilities.
