SRINAGAR, Sept. 25 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday informed the Legislative Assembly that relief and restoration measures are underway in rain- and flood-affected areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts, with more than Rs.11 crore released under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF).

Replying to a Calling Attention Motion moved by MLA Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary said Rs.300 lakh under SDRF and Rs.281 lakh under CMRF had been released for Rajouri district. For Poonch, Rs.400 lakh had been provided under SDRF and Rs.137 lakh under CMRF.
