Srinagar, Oct. 10 -- Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati, on Saturday stressed the need to strengthen access to justice, uphold judicial independence and encourage greater participation of women in the legal profession during engagements with judicial officers and lawyers in Srinagar.

The Chief Justice first interacted with judicial officers at the District Court Complex, Srinagar, where he emphasised the importance of discharging judicial responsibilities fearlessly, compassionately and in accordance with the rule of law.
