J&K Bank drifting away from interests of J&K: Bukhari
Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday raised some serious questions regarding UT's premier financial institution, J&K Bank, alleging that the institution is gradually moving away from the interests of Jammu and Kashmir, which is a major stakeholder in the institution.
Addressing a press conference here, Bukhari, raised serious concerns over what he described as the J&K Bank's growing shift away from the interests of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that over the decades this bank has played an important role in shaping the economy of Jammu and Kashmir and thus holds a special place in the hearts of its people.
