JAMMU, Oct. 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Friday commissioned its Currency Chest Building at the Regional Business Centre (RBC), Jammu, to strengthen currency management infrastructure and support cash distribution across the region.

The facility was commissioned by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Regional Director Prabhakar Jha and J&K Bank Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.

The commissioning was attended by RBI Deputy General Managers Ram Sarup and Vinod Kumar, J&K Bank General Manager and Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager Anup Bhat and Zonal Head Chandrika Parihar.
