AWANTIPORA, Sept. 28 -- The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Science, Technology and Innovation Council (JKSTIC), will host the Jammu and Kashmir Science Congress 2026 from September 29 to October 1 at its main campus in Awantipora.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also Chancellor of IUST, is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day event on September 29.
The Congress is being organised under the theme, "Science, Innovations and Emerging Technologies for Sustainable and Viksit J&K," and will bring together scientists, academicians, researchers, innovators, policymakers, industry representatives and students from across the region and beyond.
