Awantipora, May 14 -- Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Thursday organised a "Run for Health" event under the Government of India's Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
The event was organised by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports in collaboration with the Centre for Mental Health and Wellness and Dean Outreach.
The programme witnessed participation from university faculty members, officers, staff, students and local elderly residents, reflecting collective support for health, fitness and a drug-free society.
Representatives from the Town Welfare Committee Awantipora, Awantipora Forest Division, Sabir Abdullah High School and Mantaqi Higher Secondary School also participated in the event.
