SRINAGAR, Sept. 17 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Sujit Kumar on Wednesday chaired a security review meeting at the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir to assess the security situation and operational preparedness across the Central Kashmir Range.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range (CKR), senior superintendents of police of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal, SSP PCR Kashmir, sub-divisional police officers and other senior officers.

According to police, officers briefed the IGP on the prevailing security situation in their respective jurisdictions and outlined the security measures in place to maintain law and order.
