SRINAGAR, Sept. 28 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Sujit Kumar on Sunday reviewed the security and crime situation in Budgam district during a meeting at the District Police Headquarters, police said.

The review meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Omparkash Pande, Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam Hariprasad K.K. and other senior district police officers.

According to a police statement, the IGP assessed the overall security scenario, crime trends, investigation of cases and ongoing police operations in the district.
