Srinagar, Feb. 26 -- Following recent administrative changes in Jammu and Kashmir, new Deputy Commissioners on Wednesday assumed charge in Baramulla, Anantnag and Budgam districts amid formal handover ceremonies attended by senior officers and civil society representatives.

In Baramulla, Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner at the DC Office in the presence of senior district and sectoral officers. Officials and staff of the Deputy Commissioner's office, along with members of civil society, extended a warm welcome to the officer.
