SRINAGAR, April 24 -- The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department on Thursday ordered the attachment of the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla with immediate effect.

According to Government Order No. 159-JK (Edu) of 2026 dated April 23, Abdul Rashid Mir, In-charge CEO Baramulla, who was also holding additional charge as CEO Bandipora, has been attached to the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir.

The order, issued by the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, stated that the decision has been taken by the competent authority and shall come into force with immediate effect.
