SRINAGAR, June 4 -- Fresh spells of rainfall and generally cloudy weather are likely to affect several parts of Jammu and Kashmir over the next three days, prompting weather experts to advise orchardists against undertaking spraying operations until conditions improve.

According to the forecast, many areas across the Union Territory are expected to receive intermittent showers on June 4 and June 5, accompanied by generally overcast skies.

The unsettled weather is likely to persist on June 6 as well. While conditions may remain mostly fair during the first half of the day, thundershowers are expected to develop in some areas during the late afternoon and evening hours.
