KISHTWAR, Oct. 20 -- Kishtwar Police have arrested a father-son duo in connection with the alleged murder of Special Police Officer (SPO) Bashir Ahmed, whose body was recovered from a nallah in the Seran Wani area of Trigam forest after he went missing on October 15.

The accused have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Dar, son of Abdul Aziz Dar, and Nazir Ahmed Dar, son of Bashir Ahmed Dar, both residents of Seran Wani in Trigam, police said.

According to police, the SPO was reported missing by his family on October 15, prompting a search operation involving multiple police teams.
