Srinagar, July 27 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch has filed a chargesheet against three persons for allegedly duping job aspirants of Rs.23 lakh on the pretext of providing government jobs.

The chargesheet in FIR No. 01/2026, registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC), was filed before the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, officials said.

The accused have been identified as Ghulam Mohd Sheikh alias Gulzar of Palpora Pamposh Colony, Noor Bagh, Srinagar; Mohd Yousuf Wani of Kunzer, Baramulla; and Mohd Abdullah Mir of Shivath, Sumbal, in Bandipora district.
