SAMBA, Oct. 5 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Sunday reviewed the construction of two long-span bridges being built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) on the T01-Dhalote via Talour road in Samba district and directed officials to identify reasons for delays and expedite the works.

During an inspection of the projects in Sumb block, Choudhary expressed concern over the pace of construction and asked the concerned officers to assess the causes of the delay and take corrective measures to speed up execution.

He directed officials to fix responsibility for any undue delay and ensure the projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe through strict monitoring of progress. The Deputy Chief Minister also ...
