Srinagar, Oct. 17 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Friday forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till the afternoon of October 24, advising farmers to resume harvesting and other agricultural activities.

According to the forecast, generally cloudy conditions with light rain at scattered places are likely from October 25 to 27. The higher reaches may receive light snowfall, while thunderstorms and gusty winds are possible at a few places during the period.

The MeT department advised farmers to resume agricultural operations from Friday and urged people to follow official weather updates for further information.
