Drug cartels that thrived for decades are being wiped out: LG
Srinagar, May 26 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday led a massive 'padyatra' (march) in Bandipora to galvanise support for the cause of eliminating narco-terror from Jammu and Kashmir.
"Forty-five days ago, I pledged not only to dismantle the smugglers and narco-terrorists ecosystem, but also to spark a movement that uplifts youth and restores dignity to families scarred by addiction," the LG said.
Sinha said Jammu and Kashmir is united, strong in resolve, clear in purpose and fully committed to freeing the society from drugs once and for all.
