Srinagar, March 16 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah, on Monday, said that the government led by Omar Abdullah is setting a new benchmark for transparent and people-centric governance in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Farooq made these remarks while interacting with party functionaries at his residence in Srinagar. During the interaction, he said that since assuming office, the Omar Abdullah-led administration has taken decisive steps to strengthen governance, revive public institutions, and address pressing public concerns.
He noted that the government is working with dedication to improve service delivery, accelerate development, and restore public confidence in democratic institutions.
