Srinagar, March 15 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & CM Omar Abdullah have extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr and the annual Urs of the revered Patron saint of Kashmir Hazrat Alamdar-e-Kashmir, Sheikh-ul-Alam, Sheikh-Nur Ud Din Noorani (RA), affectionately known as Nund Resh (RA).

In his message, Dr Farooq said that Shab-e-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in Islam, symbolizes reflection, compassion, humility and devotion to Almighty Allah. He prayed that the blessed occasion would bring peace, prosperity and harmony to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
