SRINAGAR, Oct. 19 -- Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Jammu and Kashmir, Athar Aamir Ul Shafi on Monday reviewed maternal and child healthcare services and the progress of the upcoming Critical Care Block at SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina.
During a meeting with the hospital administration, the Mission Director assessed maternal and child health indicators and discussed measures to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of care for expectant mothers.
He also reviewed paediatric services, with particular focus on the functioning and clinical outcomes of the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).
