SRINAGAR, Oct. 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed the security situation, law and order and operational preparedness across the Union Territory, stressing stronger intelligence-sharing and coordination among police formations.

Chairing an operational review meeting at Police Headquarters in Srinagar, Prabhat took stock of ground-level developments and ongoing operations, including anti-militancy activities.

Senior officers briefed him on the prevailing security environment, operational requirements and the progress of ongoing operations. Range and district heads participated in the meeting virtually.
