DGP reviews security arrangements for SANJY-2026, calls for heightened vigilance
Srinagar, June 15 -- Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat on Sunday chaired a high-level security review meeting at PCR Kashmir to assess preparedness and strengthen security arrangements for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026).
Reviewing the overall security scenario, the DGP directed officers to maintain a high state of readiness and ensure close coordination among all agencies involved in Yatra security. He stressed the need for heightened vigilance at sensitive and vulnerable locations and called for intensified surveillance, area domination exercises, regular patrolling and anti-sabotage checks along the Yatra routes.
