Srinagar, Sept. 25 -- Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed the security situation in Kashmir and stressed the need for enhanced vigilance, technology-enabled policing and continuous professional development of police personnel.
The review meeting was held at the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir and focused on strengthening police capabilities and operational preparedness.
The meeting was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Sujit Kumar, DIG Central Kashmir Range, SSP PCR Kashmir, SSP Srinagar, SP Cargo and other officers, while DIGs of North and South Kashmir ranges and district SSPs participated through video conferencing.
