Srinagar, July 26 -- Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Saturday interacted with 21 IPS officer trainees of the 78th Regular Recruit (RR) batch at the Police Headquarters here.

During the interaction, the trainees were briefed on the role and sacrifices of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in combating Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. They were also apprised of the operational strategies adopted by the force to counter the proxy terror threat in the Union Territory.

Senior officers of the J&K Police were also present during the interaction.
