Srinagar, July 28 -- Director General, Rural Sanitation, Jammu and Kashmir, Anoo Malhotra on Tuesday directed district authorities to expedite the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) and complete pending sanitation projects within prescribed timelines.
Chairing a review meeting on the progress of the mission across all districts, Malhotra assessed expenditure under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) (SBM-G) and asked officials to ensure timely and efficient utilisation of available funds for priority interventions.
The meeting reviewed the status of spillover works, with district officials directed to closely monitor delayed projects and ensure their early completion without compromising quality.
