KULGAM, March 18 -- Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today visited DH Pora Kulgam to pay rich tributes to former Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and former Minister, Shaheed Wali Mohammad Itoo, on his 32nd death anniversary.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister described Shaheed Wali Mohammad Itoo as a visionary statesman and a grassroots leader who devoted his life to the welfare and upliftment of the people, particularly those belonging to marginalised and rural communities. He said that the late leader's commitment to inclusive development, communal harmony and democratic values continues to serve as a guiding force for present and future generations.
