Srinagar, Oct. 9 -- Several delegations and individuals called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday and discussed issues related to community welfare, trade promotion and socio-cultural development.

According to an official statement, All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference president Anil Sharma met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters concerning Panchayati Raj institutions.

Dr Jagmeet Kour Bali, chairperson of the All Sikh Minority Employees Association (ASMEA) and All Employees Joint Association (AEJAK), also called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various issues concerning the Sikh community, including the promotion of the Punjabi language.
