TANGMARG, Sept. 17 -- A dead rat was allegedly found inside a water supply pipeline in the Chek Ferozpora area of Tangmarg, triggering concerns among residents over the safety and quality of drinking water being supplied to consumers.

According to locals, the carcass was discovered during maintenance work on the pipeline on September 17. They alleged that the incident has raised serious questions about the condition of the water supply network and the monitoring mechanisms in place to ensure safe drinking water.
