SRINAGAR, Sept. 15 -- Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) Srinagar on Tuesday celebrated the 67th Foundation Day of Doordarshan and National Engineers' Day, recognising the role of engineering professionals in public service broadcasting.

The event highlighted Doordarshan's journey as a public broadcaster and focused on the contribution of technical teams in ensuring uninterrupted transmission and broadcast services.

Deputy Director General (Engineering) H.P. Meena said engineers play a key role in broadcasting operations, supporting news bulletins, live transmissions and programme production.
