Srinagar, Aug. 24 -- Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo on Monday reviewed arrangements at Hazratbal Shrine ahead of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and the Friday following, directing all departments to ensure adequate facilities for the large number of devotees expected to visit the shrine.
During an on-site inspection and review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner assessed preparations related to drinking water supply, electricity, sanitation, traffic management, parking, transportation, healthcare, fire safety, security and other essential services, officials said.
