Ganderbal, Oct. 29 -- Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Shreya Singhal on Thursday reviewed the functioning of government schools, educational infrastructure and implementation of key education schemes across the district, stressing the need to strengthen facilities and ensure effective execution of programmes.
The review meeting, held at the Mini Secretariat Complex, assessed the availability of essential facilities in schools, including drinking water, electricity and toilets, with particular focus on the availability and functional status of girls' toilets. Student enrolment in government schools was also reviewed.
