Budgam, July 20 -- Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan on Monday reviewed the district's preparedness to deal with possible weather-related emergencies and directed all departments to maintain a high level of readiness in view of the Meteorological Department's weather advisory.
Chairing a high-level meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to ensure continuous monitoring of upper reaches, flood-prone areas and other vulnerable locations to facilitate timely relief and rescue operations in the event of adverse weather.
