ANANTNAG, Oct. 15 -- Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat on Thursday reviewed the implementation of social welfare schemes and industrial development initiatives in the district, directing officials to ensure timely delivery of benefits and address bottlenecks affecting entrepreneurs.
During a review of welfare schemes, officials informed the meeting that 80,743 social security pension cases had been sanctioned on the Jansugam portal, while 76,137 beneficiaries had received payments under the Integrated Social Security Scheme (ISSS) up to September 2026.
