Srinagar, Oct. 2 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against a Pulwama resident for allegedly preparing and using a forged communication purportedly issued by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a Crime Branch spokesperson, the chargesheet in FIR No. 29/2026 has been filed before the court of Sub-Judge, Srinagar, against Saqlain Mushtaq Dar, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, a resident of Deeri, Pulwama.

The case was registered under Sections 204, 319(2), 336(2) and 340(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
