Srinagar, May 15 -- Police on Thursday said it has demolished three "illegal" under-construction shops belonging to the NDPS accused Jahangeer Ahmad Bhat of Chinigam Frisal, in Kulgam.
"The action was carried out in strict compliance with legal formalities. The demolished property was linked with the accused, who is involved in narcotics-related offences, as part of the ongoing drive against drug peddlers and their support networks," a police spokesperson said.
In Anantnag too, during a joint anti-encroachment drive conducted at Gawran Larnoo, Police along with Revenue and Forest departments demolished two "illegal" shop structures belonging of two "notorious" drug peddlers - Asif Ali Pala and Nisar Ahmad Kasana, both residents of Mathind...
