Srinagar, April 15 -- In common global usage, the terms "wealth" and "poverty" are often understood as being closely linked to money and material resources. But in reality, the matter is far more complex and multifaceted. Is wealth only defined by bank balances, property and assets? Or do knowledge, character, health, abilities and social respect also count? If someone has a lot of money but no peace of mind, and another has limited means but he has utmost inner satisfaction and self-respect-who is truly rich and who is genuinely poor? This is a thought provoking question that deserves our attention and we need to ponder it.
