SRINAGAR, Sept. 29 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday introduced five Bills in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Autumn Session, including amendments to laws governing Goods and Services Tax (GST), salaries and pensions of legislators and ministers, and a proposed legislation aimed at decriminalising and rationalising certain offences.

Abdullah, who also holds the Finance portfolio, introduced the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The legislation has been designated as L.A. Bill No. 12 of 2026.
