CM inaugurates renovated J&K House in Amritsar
Amritsar, Sept. 17 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday inaugurated the renovated Jammu and Kashmir House in Amritsar, a facility aimed at providing affordable and comfortable accommodation to residents of Jammu and Kashmir visiting the Punjab city, particularly patients and their attendants.
Located at Court Road in Amritsar, the heritage property has been upgraded with modern amenities following renovation works that began in October 2025 and were completed at an estimated cost of Rs.2.30 crore.
According to officials, the project included civil and electrical works, interior improvements, guest facilities, external development and allied infrastructure.
