SRINAGAR, Nov. 7 -- The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday conducted searches at around 10 locations across the Valley in connection with a terror recruitment case involving an alleged module accused of radicalising and recruiting youth through social media platforms.

An official said the searches were carried out at residential premises in Budgam, Safakadal and Zainakote areas of Srinagar, Bijbehara and Mattan in Anantnag district, and parts of Pulwama.

The raids were conducted by CIK teams in coordination with local police and revenue officials and in the presence of executive magistrates, the official said.
