NEW DELHI, Aug. 5 -- The Union Government has informed the Rajya Sabha that Jammu and Kashmir achieved 100 per cent Full Immunisation Coverage during the 2025-26 financial year under the Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP).

The information was provided by Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel in response to a question raised by BJP Rajya Sabha member and J&K BJP president Sat Sharma, who sought details on immunisation coverage, implementation of Intensified Mission Indradhanush and measures taken to vaccinate nomadic Gujjar and Bakarwal communities.
