Budgam, Oct. 10 -- Police personnel in Budgam were felicitated for exposing an alleged fake employment syndicate and adopting a digital beat policing system, officials said on Friday.
Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Sujit Kumar Singh distributed commendation certificates, appreciation letters and rewards among the personnel in recognition of their work. Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Pandey, was also present.
Those recognised included Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Budgam, Hariprasad KK; Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Magam, Ashrif Lissery; Station House Officer (SHO), Beerwah, Mudassir Nassar; and SHO Magam, Khurshid Awan, along with 17 other police personnel.
