JAMMU, April 7 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday inaugurated the second edition of the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Tournament by unveiling the tournament trophy and team jerseys at Maulana Azad Stadium.

The day-and-night tournament is being organised as part of a social awareness campaign against drug abuse and to promote healthy lifestyles among youth.

Among those present on the occasion were Javid Ahmed Dar, Nasir Aslam Wani, tournament organiser Tejinder Singh, besides participating teams, organisers and senior officials.

During the ceremony, Omar Abdullah formally launched the trophy for the tournament and released the official jerseys of the participating teams.
