SRINAGAR, Sept. 22 -- Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather on Monday announced the Panel of Chairmen for the ongoing Autumn Session, while the House Committee probing alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Jammu and Kashmir presented its report in the Assembly.

The Speaker nominated MLA Eidgah Mubarik Gul, MLA Samba Surjeet Singh Slathia and MLA Bandipora Nizam-ud-Din Bhat as members of the Panel of Chairmen. The panel will preside over House proceedings in the absence of the Speaker.
