Srinagar, May 27 -- All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee on Tuesday extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed hope that the festival would usher in peace, prosperity and communal harmony across the Union Territory, particularly in the Kashmir Valley.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina conveyed warm wishes to the Muslim community and all residents of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

He said the festival symbolises the values of sacrifice, patience, humility and selflessness, which are essential for strengthening brotherhood and unity in society.
