Srinagar, April 29 -- Jammu & Kashmir Police on Tuesday intensified its anti-drug crackdown across multiple districts of Kashmir, demolishing illegal properties, destroying contraband cultivation, and conducting enforcement and awareness drives under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
In Shopian, authorities removed illegally planted poplar and cherry trees and dismantled unauthorised shops raised on state land. The action targeted assets linked to individuals facing NDPS cases in Police Stations Zainapora and Shopian.
Officials said all actions were carried out strictly as per legal procedures and in the presence of competent authorities.
