Anantnag, Oct. 28 -- Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for the 'Run for Unity', scheduled to be held on October 31, and directed departments to complete preparations in coordination with one another.
The meeting, held at Dak Bungalow in Khanabal, was attended by senior district officers, including the Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, heads of various departments and other officials.
The deputy commissioner assigned responsibilities to the concerned departments and stressed timely completion of arrangements for the event, which commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and promotes national unity and integrity....
