Gulmarg, March 1 -- All India Inter-University Winter Sports Championship 2025-26, hosted by the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) commenced on Saturday amidst the pristine snow-covered slopes of Gulmarg.

This marks the second consecutive edition organized by CUKashmir, underscoring the university's growing prowess in winter sports event management.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Sandhya Tiwari, Dean of International Affairs CUKashmir, who served as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Tiwari emphasized the championship's significance: "This is a great opportunity for players to excel. We must provide more and more platforms for students aspiring to shine in winter sports."
