Srinagar, June 12 -- In a significant decision, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has extended the timeline of central assistance schemes for the one-time settlement of displaced families from Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) and Chhamb, as well as for West Pakistani Refugees (WPRs) settled in the Union Territory.

The Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction has announced the timeline for the scheme of central assistance for one-time settlement of displaced families of PoJK (1947) and Chhamb (1965 & 1971) refugees.
